S. Astrid Bin is a Canadian-born, UK-based media and performance artist. Her work is primarily concerned with interaction, blending the real and virtual worlds, how we interact with our environments, and playing with audience reaction to cultural stimuli. Past endeavours have included putting her hands in 100 mouse traps, making a picture of a pigeon out of 538 pieces of toast, documenting an attempt to make a million dollars in a year, and making a scarf for a building. She has received death threats, hate mail and international press.
Charles Horn is a new media artist from New Zealand, currently based in London. He produces sound art, and performs using DIY electronics, contact microphones, found objects, and computers. Has recorded and performed solo and in various groups around New Zealand, including playing strings, piano, electronics, and vocals for the C.M Ensemble, a free-Jazz collective based in Christchurch. Currently he also works with field recording, virtual reality, and algorithmic art / architecture, has in the past dabbled in comix, and is interested in perfecting his throat-singing
Adrian Giddings earned a BA in graphic design and sculpture and an MA in book arts from Camberwell College of Arts. Specialising in letterpress typography and paper constructions he branched out into cocktail making and butchery. Graphic design and live visuals for Xykogen keep him up very late while recent exhibitions at the Hoxton Square Gallery have seen him put on a performance-free puppet show, suggest the removal of a public fountain and temporarily annex parks worldwide. He lives and works in London and the internet.
